The RoleWe seek an experienced and professional Site Surveyor and Client Liaison to join our expanding team. This dynamic role combines technical expertise in site surveying with client-facing responsibilities, ensuring thorough property assessments and delivering exceptional client service.
Key ResponsibilitiesClient Engagement- Conduct pre-arranged site visits, professionally representing the company.
- Guide clients through a detailed questionnaire to collect critical project information.
- Present our promotional materials, including company videos, and explain our products, processes, and services.
Site Surveys- Perform comprehensive visual inspections of commercial properties, including assessments of surface conditions, structural integrity, and cladding types.
- Measure and record building dimensions with precision using appropriate tools.
- Identify and report on potential risks such as asbestos-containing materials or fire safety hazards.
Reporting and Communication- Prepare detailed and accurate reports outlining technical specifications, building measurements, and key observations for the operations manager.
- Coordinate follow-up calls to ensure excellent client communication and drive project progress.
Essential Certifications and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you must hold the following certifications or be willing to undertake training provided by us:
- CSCS Card (Construction Skills Certification Scheme): Required for access to construction and commercial sites.
- Asbestos Awareness Training (Category A): Essential for identifying and understanding asbestos risks during inspections.
- First Aid Certification: To ensure readiness for on-site emergencies.
- NVQ in Surveying, Building Maintenance, or Construction: Demonstrates expertise in property assessment.
Skills and ExperienceTechnical Competence- Strong understanding of site surveying methods and tools.
- Familiarity with cladding systems and roofing materials and compliance with fire safety standards.
Communication and Interpersonal Skills- Ability to explain technical details clearly and effectively to clients.
- Strong relationship-building skills, fostering trust and confidence with clients.
Professionalism and Organisation- High attention to detail, ensuring accurate reporting and thorough inspections.
- Well-organised with excellent time management skills.
- Presentable and professional in appearance, reflecting the companys brand and values.
